The challenge
New engineered flooring installed with all trim removed — 240 linear feet of baseboard needed, in a 1950s bungalow where no wall runs straight.
The solution
5¼-inch primed baseboard scribed to the new floor, mitres hand-fit, casing reveals set consistent at 6mm, all filled, caulked, and painted as one continuous line of work.
The outcome
Mitres that close without filler. A main floor that finally looks finished.
